Hazardous Wind Chills Expected Tonight

A wind chill advisory for tonight has been issued statewide. Winds between 15 to 25 MPH with gusts up to 40 MPH are possible.

What does this mean? It will feel #LudicrousCold

If you are traveling tonight, make sure you pack blankets, snacks, and bottled water. Charge your phone and pack a flashlight as well. You don’t want to breakdown unprepared.

Also, your car burns fuel quicker in the cold temperatures. Don’t tempt the fates by playing chicken with your fuel gauge. Don’t let your fuel get too low!

Troopers will be out there tonight checking the roadways for broken down vehicles. Should you breakdown, it’s better to be prepared while you wait for a trooper or tow service.

Have a safe night, and stay warm!
