We are so thrilled to announce that our darling boy Lucas has found himself a wonderful home of his own. Lucas was such a special boy, right from then start. We received a plea from some nice people down south to help this sweet, loving dog that didn’t have a chance in a shelter down there. Lucas was born with a congenital deformity that caused his eyes to be way too small for his eye sockets. This caused Lucas to be blind, which was not a problem since he was so well adapted, but his eyes needed to be enucleated and the shelter would not put that kind of effort into a blind dog down in Tennessee. We had Lucas sent up to us at Popcorn Park and instantly fell in love with this gentle and kind soul. Lucas was absolutely elated just to be with good people that treated him with kindness, and he practically melted every time you would pet him. Lucas came through his surgery just fine and soon, he was noticed by a wonderful couple that just adores him. Lucas bonded with them right away too so, he has gone off to start his happy new life. We will miss him so much, but could not have asked for a better home for our sweet boy. Congratulations Lucas and family! May you have a long, happy, healthy life together. Keep smiling Lucas!
