Jackson Police Invite Public to Attend Scam Prevention Seminar

JACKSON-The Jackson Township Police Department in association with the FBI Citizens Academy Alumni Associations Donna Parsons will be sponsoring a “Scam Prevention” seminar at the Jackson Senior Center on Tuesday January 20th at 12:45 pm. Topics of the presentation will include ID theft, Internet Scams, Medical and Credit Card Fraud. Attendees will be educated on what to “look for” and what “not to do” when scammers attempt to lure innocent victims into their illicit activity.

The FBI Newark Citizens Academy Alumni Association is a nonprofit organization separate and apart from the FBI. The Chapters purpose is to serve the community as Informational Ambassadors. Donna Parsons is the Newark Chapters Secretary and Education Chair. Donna is a College Instructor and IT professional with a great deal of experience in dealing with internet scams.
