Christmas Tree Recycling Available at County Parks

TOMS RIVER – Christmas tress can be dropped off at many Ocean County Parks for recycling through the end of January.

“For many years now, we have accepted discarded Christmas trees for recycling at several of our parks,” said Ocean County Freeholder Director John C. Bartlett Jr. “We use the woodchips for landscaping materials at county parks and facilities.”

These parks will be accepting Christmas trees:
• Cattus Island County Park, Toms River Township
• Patriots County Park, Jackson Township
• Robert J. Miller Airpark, Berkeley Township
• Forge Pond Golf Course, Brick Township
• Atlantis County Golf Course, Little Egg Harbor Township
• Freedom Fields County Park, Little Egg Harbor Township
• Stanley Tip Seaman County Park, Tuckerton
• Paul King County Park, Manahawkin
• Wells Mills County Park, Waretown
• Enos County Park, Lacey Township
• Jakes Branch County Park, Beachwood
• Ocean County Park, Lakewood
• Beaver Dam Creek County Park, Point Pleasant
• Cloverdale Farm County Park, Barnegat Township
