Justin Hulse scored twice and had one assist to lead the Brick Memorial High School hockey team to a 3-2 win over host Toms River East on Tuesday.

Ryan Chafe had a goal and an assist for the Mustangs and Andrew Slobiski and Thomas Swartwout had one assist each.

Ryan Garcia scored in the first period with assists from Brandon Coyle and Colby Dineen to give the Raiders a 1-0 lead. Goals by Hulse and Chafe in the second period put Brick Memorial up 2-1, and Hulse scored again in the third to give the Mustangs a two-goal lead. Patrick Romano scored for Toms River East with an assist from Patrick Hofmann later in the third period to make the final score 3-2.
