The Lakewood BlueClaws will also once again host the sixth annual Jersey Shore Wine Festival at Lakewood’s FirstEnergy Park, on Saturday, June 11 through Sunday, June 12. The 2016 Jersey Shore Wine Festival will feature samplings from 12 featured Garden State wineries, including Cava, DiMatteo and Valenzano, along with CodaRossa Winery, Monroeville Winery, and Tomasello Winery. The cost to attend is $15 in advance or $20 at the gate for those over 21. A two-day ticket will also be available. The event will be held from 12 noon to 5 p.m., each day.
There will also be live entertainment, crafters, retail vendors, food truck vendors, and a children’s play area.
Tickets for the Jersey Shore Wine Festival can be purchased in advance through EventBrite at the following link, starting Feb. 15: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/jersey-shore-wine-festival-tickets-20256522805?ref=ebtnebtckt. Tickets will go on sale at the Lakewood Blue Claws on March 25.
All net proceeds will be donated to Sylvia’s Children, a Holmdel-based 501(c)3 organization working over the past decade to improve the living conditions for more than 1,000 children in Uganda.
