HS GIRLS BASKETBALL: Donovan Catholic Edges Point Pleasant Borough 67-65

Melissa Buxton scored 28 points and pulled down 10 rebounds Tuesday to lead the Donovan Catholic High School girls basketball team to a 67-65 win over visiting Point Pleasant Borough.

Alyssa Hirschy scored 20 points and Kaitlyn Borghesi had eight points and eight assists for the Griffins.

Megan Hughes led all scorers with 37 points for the Panthers, who trailed by one point at halftime.
