HS GIRLS BASKETBALL: Point Pleasant Borough Defeats Jackson Liberty 52-39

Megan Hughes scored 18 points and had seven rebounds and eight assists Monday as the visiting Point Pleasant Borough High School girls basketball team defeated Jackson Liberty, 52-39.

Ally Lassen scored 15 points and had five steals and three blocked shots for the Panthers, who held a 47-27 lead after the third quarter. Amy Bergquist added 13 points for Point Pleasant Borough.

Maeve Carney and Bailey Keenan scored 10 points each for the Lions. Lauren Bungay scored nine points and grabbed seven rebounds and Hailey McGee added five points and seven assists for Jackson Liberty.
