The Department of Continuing & Professional Education at Ocean County College is hosting four different Open Houses during January and February for individuals looking to branch out into a new career field or upgrade skills, and for parents interested in learning more about Kids & Teens programs. The Open Houses will be held on the Ocean County College Main Campus, College Drive, Toms River, NJ. Admission is free and open to the public.
• Medical Billing, Medical Coding, & Health Information Management as a Career Open House: Saturday, January 21 (Snow Date: Jan 28) from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, Room A224, Grunin Center, Building #11. Visitors should park in Parking Lot #2. Be a part of the growing health care industry! Learn how you can complete a certificate either online or in a traditional classroom and have a rewarding job in the health care industry, either in a home business or health care facility.
• Spring Open House: Tuesday, January 24 (Snow Date: Jan 26) from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m., Ground Floor Lobby, College Library, Building #3. Visitors should park in Parking Lot #1. Learn about health careers, business and technology certificates, specialized careers, personal interest classes for fun and enrichment, and more!
• Business, Technology, & Specialized Careers Open House: Thursday, February 7 (Snow Date: Feb 9) from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m., Ground Floor Lobby, College Library, Building #3. Visitors should park in Parking Lot #1. This is your opportunity to meet the instructors, learn about Career Track training and certificate programs, and ask questions about education and career opportunities. You’ll also receive help with registration and payment options.
• Kids & Teens’ Summer Camps Open House: Saturday, February 25 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and Wednesday, March 1 from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m., Ground Floor Lobby, College Library, Building #3. Visitors should park in Parking Lot #1. This Open House is also a great opportunity to check out OCC’s fun and educational programs for kids and teens including dance, golf, science, and more!
