Opponent: Menendez Should Answer to Teen Prostitution Allegations

WASHINGTON, DC-New Jersey Senator Robert Menendez is being called to task on allegations made by federal prosecutors that he has had sex with teenage prostitutes while visiting the Dominican Republic with his now incarcerated business associate Salomon Melgen.

The Hugin campaign said today, “Following the campaign’s release of a new TV ad, corrupt, career politician Bob Menendez’s campaign responded with blatant falsehoods in a shameful attempt to distract voters from the facts. Voters must decide whether they believe Senator Menendez and convicted felon Dr. Salomon Melgen, or whether they believe the FBI, Obama Justice Department, and the women whose allegations about Senator Menendez were found to be credible by federal authorities.”

“Senator Menendez: How can you say that you ‘believe women’, just not the underage girls in the Dominican Republic who accused you, according to sworn FBI documents? Stop trying to change the subject and answer the question,” Hugin Communications Director Megan Piwowar “We are confident that when given the choice between believing a corrupt, career politician like you and a convicted felon like Salomon Melgen, or believing the FBI and the Obama Justice Department, the people of New Jersey will do the right thing and end your shameful political career once and for all.”
