BERKELEY-C.B. Huntington’s was a beloved restaurant in Berkeley Township by kids and adults of all ages over the years.  It would seem finding a suitable replacement would be impossible, but Mike and Lindsay Parrot, owners of Bill’s BBQ Shack may have done just that.

Owners Mike & Lindsay Parrott took over the former CB Huntington’s site and prepared a new menu of slow-smoked BBQ, made from a family recipe. Adults and kids will also enjoy the chicken tenders, pizza, burgers, salads and ribs.

At the restaurant’s grand opening Mayor Carmen Amato helped the Parrot’s cut the ribbon and welcomed the family business to the community.

Mayor Carmen Amato hopes the success of this location will transfer over to Bill’s BBQ Shack. “I’m excited to have another great business on the Rt. 9 corridor. This is a great meeting place with a family atmosphere,” Amato said at the ribbon cutting.

The rave reviews are coming in for the new business.

“Been here several times already for food and drinks. Always a wonderful experience. Food is great and the staff are excellent,” said Resa Menke.

“Came here for dinner yesterday and already can’t wait to go back! Super nice inside and our waitress was friendly, attentive and explained the differences between all the different sauces for me,” said Liz Pannella. “We had hush puppies, brisket, pulled chicken, ribs, beans, mac and cheese and cornbread. Every plate was more delicious than the last (and enough for leftovers the next day). Definitely the best BBQ in the area!”
