WASHINGTON, DC-New York City Congresswoman Alexandria Cortez today was put in her place by conservative media personality Candace Owens after a Senate vote on her Green New Deal crashed and burned on the Senate floor.

Not a single member of the U.S. Senate voted in favor of the Cortez vision of socialist America, not even her fellow Democrats.

They instead voted “present” and Cortez said it was because she told them to vote that way.

“Because I encouraged them to vote present along with others,” Cortez said.

Owens, the rising star of the Republican party in America, who also happens to be a young black woman, put the champagne socialist in her place.

“Let’s skip to the part where you pretend the #GreenNewDeal failed because of old racist white men,” Owens said to Cortez.  “Your “if you disagree with me you’re a bigot” routine is my favorite part of your indefensible stupidity.”

Cortez routinely plays the race card to discredit anyone who disagrees with her and has shown a distaste for white American men in the past.

Race card denied.
