Grunin Unable to Save 40 Year Old “Topic A” from Inevitable Death

TOMS RIVER-Just over one year after taking the microphone at WOBM’s “Topic A” morning talk radio show, host Jeremy Grunin and the station appear to be parting ways.

Grunin, who previously hosted an early, early morning show at the station took over after the death of longtime host Bob Levy.

For decade’s Levy’s program was the morning anchor of the station’s programming schedule until his death in 2018.

The station cited the overtly political direction the show has taken a political turn.

“Unfortunately, in today’s divided political landscape caller dialogue became less and less about community issues throughout the years and more about divisive agendas which altered the tone of the program,” the station said.
