Fire Destroys Home in Holiday City at Berkeley

This morning Stations 17,18,20, 26-RIT and Squad 55 were dispatched to a residence on Innsbruck Drive in the Holiday City section of Berkeley Township for a reported working structure fire. Upon commands arrival he advised he had a working fire in the garage of the residence. Crews arrived on locations and extinguished the fire without incident or injury. We would like to thank Bayville Volunteer Fire Dept Pinewald Pioneer Fire Co. Toms River Fire Company 2 and Berkeley Township Police Department for their assistance during on scene operations. The working relationship we have with these agencies is second to none. We would also like to thank Beachwood Vol. Fire Department for assistance with coverage during this incident as well as Ocean County Sheriff 911 for their communications role during this incident. The scene was turned over to the Ocean County Fire Marshals Office and is still under investigation as of this time.
