Coronacrook Steals Woman’s Purse, Fortunately He Wasn’t Wearing a Face Mask

Shore News Network

EVESHAM, NJ – It’s a time when everyone has to wear a face mask while shopping, so if you’re a criminal, of course, you’re not going to follow the law, even when the law gives you a once in a lifetime opportunity to bandit up and go out committing your crimes.

But, as we know criminals aren’t that smart.

According to the Evesham Police Department, an unknown male stole a female’s purse while she was shopping inside the Walmart Store, 150 E. Rte. 70. Investigation determined that the female shopper had accidentally left her purse unattended in the store while shopping. The unknown male grabbed the purse and placed it into his shopping cart, then exited the store.

Even worse, he wasn’t wearing gloves or a mask.  How many other laws was this guy violating?  He’s apparently also a non-essential individual, but nevertheless police are asking the public to help identify this coronacrook.

If anyone knows the identity of the male, you are asked to contact the Evesham Police Department at 856-983-1116, the Confidential Tip Line at 856-983-4699 or email at Facebook@Eveshampd.org. Anonymous tips text ETPDTIP to 847411
