Two Year Old Child Injured in Lawnmower Accident

MANAHAWKIN, NJ – A two year old boy sustained lacerations from a lawnmower accident that required air transport to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

On Sunday, April 19th at approximately 11:45 AM, the Stafford Township Police Department and EMS responded to a residence on Rodeo Drive in the West Creek section of Stafford Township. The incident involved a 2 year old child injured by a lawn mower. The child sustained an injury to the lower leg and foot area. The child initially was taken to Southern Ocean Medical Center and Jersey Shore Medical Center. The child was later flown to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
