NBA Reporter Chris Palmer: Burn it all down…Until the rioters climbed the gates of his private community

LOS ANGELES, CA – NBA reporter Chris Palmer found himself in an ironic situation this week after he initially supported the burning and destruction of a Minneapolis low-income housing complex, saying “Burn that shit down, burn it all down.”    Two days later, as rioters came to “tear up” his own neighborhood, Palmer sang a different sont.

“Don’t come to where we live at and tear our neighborhood up. We care about our community. If you don’t care about yours I don’t give a shit,” he tweeted. “They just attacked our sister community down the street. It’s a gated community and they tried to climb the gates. They had to beat them back. Then destroyed a Starbucks and are now in front of my building. Get these animals TF out of my neighborhood. Go back to where you live.”

Now, Palmer is walking back his support for the violence and destruction in Minneapolis saying he didn’t know they were organized protesters or that the building on fire was intended to provide low-income housing to disadvantaged people in Minneapolis.
