TRENTON, NJ – Governor Phil Murphy today recapped his weekend protest appearances and credited attendees for all wearing face masks during the event.

“This weekend I partook in a movement built around ensuring justice for and solidarity with our communities of color, especially when law enforcement officers are involved in a death,” Murphy said. “We had the opportunity to join two of the protests which took place to say Black Lives Matter and systemic racism must be relegated to history.”

“I was pleased to see so many people, in fact, I said to my colleagues today, I don’t recall seeing one person not wearing a mask or face covering,” Murphy said.
