GOP Whitewashing Racism: Bucco, Hoven, Cabana, Asdal, Hill Stanzilis, Chegwidden Endorse Rik Mehta for U.S. Senate

MORRISTOWN, NJ – New Jersey Republicans continue white-washing the stain on U.S. Senate candidate Rikin Mehta’s record.  That stain is viral video in which one of Mehta’s top campaign staffers were seen on video repeating the “N-word”.  Brandon Kubinak, a political consultant hired by Mehta also serves as the South Amboy Republican Party Chairman.  Kubinak was expelled from Monmouth University for his rant, but it wasn’t until more than a year later, after the video went viral across America that Mehta removed Kubinak from the campaign, and he did it in silence.  There was no press release.  There was no apology.  Mehta swept his campaign’s racism under the carpet and Cory Booker probably can’t wait to run against Mehta to destroy him out of the gates for it.

As a Republican, Mehta owes it to the voters to at least acknowledge his campaign’s former support of Kubinak.  It is the Republican thing to do, but not being a Republican, Mehta would not know that.

Warning: Video is shocking. NSFW.  Adult language and racist intent.

Republican U.S. Senate Candidate, former Democrat, Dr. Rik Mehta today announced major Morris County endorsements in his race to unseat Cory Booker. The endorsement includes Senator Anthony Bucco, Freeholder Doug Cabana, Chester Borough Mayor Janet Hoven, Chester Township Mayor Marcia Asdal, Mine Hill Mayor Sam Morris, Mount Arlington Mayor Michael Stanzilis and Wharton Mayor William J. Chegwidden.

Mehta’s campaign has already received the endorsement of the Morris County Republican Chairwoman, Laura Ali to share the official Morris County Republican slogan with President Trump and local Republican leaders throughout the County.
None of those endorsing Mehta today would comment on Mehta’s staffer’s inciteful “n-word” rant on Twitter.

I look forward to working together as I take on Cory Booker in the fall.”
