Check it Out! New York Yankees Prepare for Shortened Season at New Jersey High School

RAMSEY, NJ – The baseball field at Don Bosco Prep, a private high school located in Ramsey saw some Major League action this week. On Monday, Aaron Judge, Aaron Hicks, Mike Ford and Mets’ Dellin Betances showed up the school to take some hacks before heading to Yankee Stadium for their new spring training. Check out the Instagram posts below by hitting coach Jason Ferber.

Major League Baseball will allow official training to begin Friday, July 3rd in anticipation of a July 23rd opening day, 60 game season.   So if you want an Aaron Judge dinger, go check the woods behind the field, because he put a bunch into the tree line.

ON GOD THESE FIRST TWO NO-STRIDE SWINGS from @thejudge44 WENT WELL OVER 400ft😳 Smh I think I might reach out to ESPN just to see if they would consider having a 10 minute Big League Lit Mix Tape segment on Sports Center one day🤔🎥⚾️🎧🥶for example lets peep MY GUYY🤩 and 6’7”/282lbs 2013 first rounder for the NY Yankees Aaron Judge (aka “STUART LITTLE”🐭). Judge went on to have a record-breaking rookie season in 2017. He was named an All-Star and won the Home Run Derby🏆, becoming the first ever MLB rookie to do so. Judge ended the season with 52 home runs😧, breaking Mark McGwire's MLB rookie record of 49 and the Yankees' full-season rookie record of 29 (previously held by Joe DiMaggio🤯). P.S. He looks like he’s at about 70% effort in BP… but I promise you he is jacking every one of these way into the trees🧐🌳🏊🏽‍♂️💦⚾️🚀😅🙋🏽‍♂️ 🎙: @migos #baseball #judge #big #league #mixtape #season #homerun #power #hit #crispy #seeds #bruh #littleleague #mlb #compete #havefun #respect #thegame #staypositive #workhard #neverforget #teammates #baseballislife #myguy @turn2pineiro14 🥵

SOMEONE ASKED YESTERDAY: “WHAT’S THE BIGGEST DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A BIG LEAGUER TAKING BATTING PRACTICE AND EVERYONE ELSE”🤔 So for learning purposes and all my young aspiring hitters out there, I wanted to drop this UNEDITED video of MY GUYY🤩 and @yankees 1B Mike Ford @mikeford1226 (aka “MIKEY APPLE SEEDS”🍎) take his first round of the day. Do Big Leaguers pop up or roll over or mishit baseballs🤷🏽‍♂️… of course they do. What they DON’T DO is CONTINUE to pop up or roll over or swing under or over the baseball two, three, four times in a row etc and let it snowball. They have such advanced body and barrel awareness that as soon as they don’t get a desired result… usually an IMMEDIATE ADJUSTMENT follows with the next swing👊🏽 Watch closely here🧐 after 4 effortless backside lasers, Mikey Apple Seeds gets out in front of one and hooks it down the line… next swing… back to another opposite field rocket🚀😴 So while they’re absolutely still having a ton of fun and enjoying hitting crispy seeds as much as any of us do… they never lose their intent, focus, and purpose with everything they do in practice. It’s also called having absurd levels of talent, confidence, and feel😎🏊🏽‍♂️💦⚾️🙋🏽‍♂️ @donboscoprepbaseball @turn2pineiro14 #baseball #big #league #battingpractice #sheesh #effortless #automatic #body #awareness #hit #crispy #seeds #littleleague #mlb #yankees #compete #havefun #respect #thegame #staypositive #workhard #focus #shine #giveback #hustle #neverforget #teammates #baseballislife #myguy
