LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ – A naked man barricaded himself in his Beach Boulevard home on Friday as police officers from Lacey and the Ocean County S.W.A.T. team blocked off traffic and warned neighbors to stay inside their homes.

“Beach Blvd will be closed to traffic in both directions between Waikiki Dr and Molokai Dr until further notice, due to ongoing police operations. Residents in the area are asked to shelter in place in their homes until advised otherwise,” said a Nixle warning from the Lacey Township Police Department.

The standoff between the naken man and police started around 3:30 p.m. and ended at 7:00 p.m.  Police used a taser on the man in order to bring him into custody.  No further information was provided by law enforcement officials.
