Congressional Candidate David Richter Leads Trump, Police, Veterans Boat Parade in Barnegat Bay

TOMS RIVER, NJ – David Richter, who is running for Congress against Nancy Pelosi protege Andy Kim in November today led an armada of boats, both small and huge, along the Barnegat Bay in support of President Donald J. Trump, law enforcement and our nation’s military.  Richter, a Republican who who overcame a tough challenge against the corrupt Ocean County GOP line, has become the favorite of the people here in Ocean County despite facing backlash from Ocean County GOP Chairman Frank Holman this week.

Richter rode in the lead boat of the parade organized by Stafford Township Conservative Republican Club Councilman George Williams.  Williams served as grand marshall of today’s boat parade.

“We’re standing up for our law enforcement and our veterans,” Richter said.

Richter is currently leading his opponent Andy Kim by a very narrow margin as the election heats up.

This week, Richter became the latest victim of Ocean County GOP Chairman Frank Holman’s party infighting after Holman pulled support for the candidate.   Holman initially hosted a barbeque fundraiser in Berkeley Township for Richter, but at the last minute, not only did Holman pull his support, he and other party leaders called upon members of the party to not attend.

Toms River Mayor Mo Hill called township employees who were scheduled to attend and told them not to show up for the fundraiser.   The coordinated effort between Holman, Hill, Freeholder Virginia Haines and New Jersey Assemblyman Greg McGuckin to subvert the Republican party’s campaign to take over the U.S. Congress and unseat a Nancy Pelosi supporter from the state’s 3rd congressional district did not appear to work.

Many attended the fundraiser and party vice-chairwoman Barbara Lanuto hosted the event for Richter after GOP Boss Holman withdrew his support to unseat Andy Kim.

It is unsure at this point, exactly why Holman, Hill, McGuckin and RNC Committeewoman are now battling with their nomination for Congress, but it appears to be rooted with their deep resentment of former Ocean County GOP Chairman George Gilmore.   Holman this week published a release calling on the Southern Ocean County Conservative Republican PAC to stop raising money for Richter.
