Jackson Township, NJ – For years, Jackson Township “watchdogs” Elenor Hannum, Raeanne Walker, and their neighbors on Evergreen Court battled James Picon and his business, J.R Custom Landscaping over noise, mulch and his basic existence. Finally, the community of Evergreen Court has won. Picon’s land is going to be sold and his business is moving out. The saga has gone on for about 10 years now.
Instead of “stinky mulch” and wood chippers, the lot will be transformed into a commercial plaza with office and retail space. The application will be heard before the Jackson Township Zoning Board on September 16th via a virtual zoom meeting.
