ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – On September 17, 2020, a man was located and arrested after attempting to lure a child into his vehicle.

At 8:25 pm, patrol officers responded to the 100 north block of Delaware Avenue for a report of an attempted child luring. Officer Adrian Nunez-Santos arrived to speak with the mother of a 12-year-old girl. The mother reported that she and her daughter were walking their dog when the girl walked towards a corner store alone. The mother saw a vehicle approach her daughter and stop. More than an hour later, Officer Nunez-Santos saw the vehicle at South Carolina and Pacific Avenues and conducted a motor vehicle stop. The driver, Gaetano Reale, was confirmed to be the man that spoke with the child and was arrested without incident.
