Hope One Cape May Presented With PPE, Sleeping Mats for Homeless

Your News

CAPE MAY, NJ – Hope One Cape May County was presented with handmade mats, masks and bags by Margaret Morris. Margaret and her husband Chick took humanitarian aid to a new level. The matsm masks and bags for the homeless are made from sterile material that would be ordinarily disposed of after one sterile use. Margaret has used the theory of recycling, repurpose, reuse to create items that can be so helpful to those in need. She and Chick did this on their own time and expense and still found time to make brownies to donate to the post’s Friday night Dinner.
“We are so happy they are a part of our VFW family,” Hope One said. “Lt. Joe Landis, Community Outreach Director and expert Driver/Director of the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office Hope One vehicle, was honored to have been presented with these products to have onboard their vehicle for distribution when needed.”
