Bruce Springsteen Says He’ll Take First Plane to Australia if Trump Wins Re-election

Robert Walker

ASBURY PARK, NJ – Born in the USA, Bruce Springsteen is ready to flee the country if that bad orange man in the White House wins the 2020 Presidential election…which he probably will.  That’s what the Boss is saying this week as he boasted he would move to Australia if Joe Biden loses in November.

“I love Australia. “Every time, we have nothing but good times down there. It’s always a treat to come. Love the people, love the geography, a great place for motorcycle trips, it’s close to our hearts,” Springsteen, 71 said. “If Trump is re-elected – which he will not be; I’m predicting right now he’s gonna lose – if by some happenstance he should be, I’ll see you on the next plane.”

Springsteen is no fan of Trump.  This summer he called the President a “threat to our democracy”.

“I believe that our current president is a threat to our democracy,” he said in an interview this summer.  “He simply makes any kind of reform that much harder. I don’t know if our democracy could stand another four years of his custodianship. These are all existential threats to our democracy and our American way of life.”
