Trump Wins Pennsylvania Election Case, Segregated Ballots Disqualified

Shore News Network

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court Judge Mary Hannah Leavitt has ruled in favor of the political campaign of President Donald J. Trump, declaring that a small amount of mail-in ballots for first-time voters that have signatures that cannot be confirmed will not be counted.  The decision is more of a public relations and political victory for the campaign as those ballots are minimal and have not yet been counted in the overall tally. Trump has to make up a large gap of 61,000 votes to overturn the Pennsylvania count.  The judge ruled that Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar lacked the authority to issue guidance to count mail-in ballots as long as signatures were verified by November 12th.  Trump’s campaign was handed a small victory, but probably not enough to change the outcome of the Pennsylvania election on that issue alone.
