New York City Swingers Club Raided for COVID-19 Violations

QUEENS, NY – COVID-19 wasn’t the only disease police and sheriff’s officers in New York City were worried about after police raided a swingers club operating out of a home in a residential neighborhood.  On Sunday, shortly after midnight, deputy sheriffs from the New York City Sheriff’s Department shut down the illegal bottle and swingers club known as Caligula operating at 40-19 20th Avenue, Queens.  That neighborhood is identified as a “yellow zone” in New York’s COVID-19 executive order.  Police said over people were in attendance in violation of emergency orders and liquor was being sold without a liquor license. Two organizers and one patron swinger were arrested during the ‘bust’.
