Wiz continues to stay hot: Thanksgiving football preview

Shore News Network

NEW YORK, NYThe Wiz continued his streak during Monday Night Football calling the upset between the Los Angeles Rams and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as the Rams, a 4 point underdog, defeated the Bucs 27-24.

The College Basketball season is underway with opportunities to make Big Money. There’s never been a better time to take advantage of the Wiz’s VIP package at JoeWizSports.com

Take a look at Wiz’s preview of Thursday’s Thanksgiving NFL schedule, better yet, call Joe Wiz to for this week’s Wiz VIP package.

Houston Texans at Detroit Lions

Not exactly a marquee match up and it’s only fitting there will be no fans in attendance at Ford Field as these two have a combined record of 7-13. The Texans are coming off an upset win over New England while the Lions did not show up in Carolina losing 20-0 to the Panthers.

There’s no home-field advantage for the Lions even if there were fans in attendance as they have lost 13 of 16 on Turkey Day.

The Texans have been playing better since Romeo Crennel took over as head coach and over the last 5 games QB Deshaun Watson has thrown 12 TD passes with 0 picks. Lean towards the visiting team.

Washington Football Team at Dallas Cowboys

These two teams met at FedEx Field on Oct 25th in what was a lopsided 25-3 victory for The Washington Football team.  Both teams come in with identical 3-7 records but the Winner of this game will be in first place in the dismal NFC East. Has Dallas turned the corner?    Last week they beat the Vikings 38-31 and the week prior went right down to the wire with unbeaten Pittsburgh.

Meanwhile, Washington is also coming off a win over Cincinnati 20-7 and Ron Rivera’s team has been in a lot of close encounters lately. QB Alex Smith is playing well and passed for over 700 yards the last two weeks.  The line on this game had Dallas a 3 point favorite and the total is 46. Not interested in laying any points especially with the Boys who have dropped 8 of their last 9 spread decisions on Turkey Day and are just 2-8 ATS this season.

Baltimore Ravens at Pittsburgh Steelers

The Ravens were favored to win the AFC North but now that’s only a pipe dream as Harbaugh and his underachieving Ravens are fighting to remain in playoff contention. The Ravens have lost three of four and not only have to face the unbeaten Steelers on a short week but are also dealing with COVID issues.

Mike Tomlin’s Steelers have figured out a way to contain Lamar Jackson and force him into making uncharacteristic mistakes including two picks in the first meeting.  A Win on Thanksgiving night and people will start talking about matching the magical Dolphins season where they still hold the record as the only NFL team to run the table.

Pitt looked lethargic in Sunday’s 24-3 Win at Jacksonville but they would like nothing better than to put a nail in the Ravens’ Super Bowl aspirations.
