JACKSON COUNTY, FL – On Wednesday, January 06, 2021 members of the Jackson County Drug Task Force were assisted by the United States Marshal’s Service Florida Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task Force in a fugitive investigation. During the course of their investigation, contact was made with Jarrien A’vion Dudley at a residence in the Cypress community. Dudley is a known associate of the fugitive, Ja’Drian Gilbert, who remains at large. Upon making contact with Dudley, he granted Task Force members consent to enter his residence to search for Gilbert. As a result, multiple items consistent with the sales, packaging and/or distribution of illegal narcotics were located in plain view to include MDMA (Ecstacy) and Marijuana. Dudley was known to be on felony probation and he was arrested.
Subsequently, a search warrant was obtained to further search the residence for additional narcotics. The search warrant was executed and revealed quantities of Marijuana, MDMA, Cocaine, and prescription medications packaged for sale. Additionally, two firearms were located as a result of the search warrant and approximately $26,258 US Currency suspected to be the proceeds of the sales of illegal narcotics were seized.
