WASHINGTON, D.C. — Two suspects, including a 15-year-old, have been arrested in connection with a violent robbery in Southwest D.C. that left the victim hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. The incident took place on the morning of October 29, when a group allegedly assaulted the victim and stole his belongings in the 700 block of D Street, Southwest.

Police responded to the scene around 8:35 a.m., and the victim was subsequently transported to a local hospital by DC Fire and EMS for treatment. Following an investigation, detectives identified and arrested 19-year-old Amirah Green of Southeast D.C. and a 15-year-old male from Alexandria, Va. Both suspects were charged with Robbery (Force and Violence).

The case remains open as authorities continue to investigate. Anyone with additional information is encouraged to contact police at (202) 727-9099 or text tips to 50411. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to further arrests or indictments related to this crime.
