Clairton, PA – A 16-year-old male was found with a gunshot wound to the hip in Clairton, prompting an investigation by the Allegheny County Police Department’s General Investigations Unit. The incident occurred in the 300 block of Shaw Avenue.

The shooting was reported to County 9-1-1 at 9:40 PM, with first responders quickly arriving at the scene. The victim was immediately transported to a nearby hospital for medical attention. The condition of the teenager has not been disclosed at this time.

Allegheny County Police Department detectives are currently leading the investigation into this shooting incident. The department is seeking assistance from the public in gathering information.
