SARCELLES,FRANCE-French authorities have reported a car explosion outside a synagogue in this city near Paris. The Paris Metro newspaper reports this incident is not related to brutal morning attack on the offices of Charlie Hebdo where 12 people have been killed by what appears to be Islamic extremists.
Update: Authorities have determined the blast to have been cause by mechanical failure.
