Troopers Arrest 5 in Connection with Diversion Thefts

Last October, we posted pictures of six women who were wanted for the theft of the Krystal Vy Chinese Restaurant located on Black Horse Pike in Folsom Borough, Atlantic County. Six women were captured on surveillance working together and using diversion tactics to steal a purse and other items.

After an extensive investigation that involved the Atlantic County Sheriff’s Department, Pennsylvania State Police, Illinois State Police, Chicago Police Department, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), U.S. Marshal’s Service, and Skokie Police Department (Illinois), troopers from Buena Vista Station have arrested five individuals connected to the theft that occurred on September 27, 2013.

The following were charged with theft and conspiracy to commit theft and lodged at the Atlantic County Jail:


Michael Denikov, 47, Niles, IL $75,000/full


Melianna Denikov, 45 , Chicago, IL $75, 000/full

Linda Martinov, 56, Park Ridge IL $100,000/full

Biserka Petrov, 32, Chicago, IL $100,000/full

Ljuba Petrov, 42, Lincolnwood, IL $100,000/full

Troopers are currently investigating other incidents or crimes that may be linked to these individuals. Anyone with information is asked to contact Trooper Michael Garvey of Buena Vista Station at (609) 561-1800 extension 3442.
