TOMS RIVER – Representatives of the U.S. Small Business Administration now have regular office hours locally to help residents and business owners affected by 2012’s Superstorm Sandy.

They will be on hand from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at the county’s Office of Emergency Management, located in the Ocean County Airpark off Route 530. The SBA has set a new filing deadline for physical damage and economic injuries for Dec. 1, 2016.

Residents and business owners may apply for low-interest disaster loans from the SBA that may not be covered by insurance, grants or other sources. Loan applications may also be downloaded at www.sba.gov/disaster or by calling 1-800-659-2955.
