Vicari Wins Again in Ocean County; Vows to Reject Murphy’s Sanctuary State

Phil Stilton

TOMS RIVER-Republican Ocean County Freehold Joseph Vicari defeated his latest opponent, Helen Dela Cruz by an 18 point margin on election night, securing his seat on the Ocean County Board of Chosen Freeholders.

Vicari credited his accomplishments, along with the rest of the board of freeholders for his victory, despite the annual election season attempts to smear his credibility by the Asbury Park Press in the days leading up to the election.

Vicari said despite Democrat Phil Murphy’s victory in the gubernatorial race, Vicari vowed that Ocean County will reject Murphy’s efforts to make New Jersey a sanctuary state.
