TOMS RIVER-Stephen Leone, a partner in the law firm of Carluccio, Leone, Dimon, Doyle & Sacks which represents the Toms River School District told the Shore News Network this evening that the investigation into leaked confidential documents to the media has concluded.

Leone said the findings of the investigation are not yet ready for public disclosure.

“The report regarding the investigation concerning the disclosure of confidential information provided to the Board attorney is protected by the attorney-client privilege,” Leone said.  “I am not at liberty to divulge the findings other than the investigation is concluded at this time.”

Leone did not say when the public will be made aware of the findings as a result of the four-month-long investigation that included the hiring of a private investigator.

He also did not say whether or not those findings would be presented to the board during the body’s executive meeting sessions or disclosed directly to the public, if at all.
