Police: Woman Charged with Taking Vehicle After Spat with Family

Friday, January 5, 2018. VEHICLE TAKEN WITHOUT THE CONSENT OF THE OWNER: At 11:00am Officer Falzarano responded to a residence on Tuscany Drive regarding a vehicle taken from the driveway. The owner of the vehicle indicated he had been staying with friends on Tuscany Drive and had his vehicle running in the driveway. A short time later, after having an argument with her parents, 33 year old Marissa Vallone entered the vehicle and drove away. Officer Falzarano prepared criminal complaints against Ms. Vallone for taking the vehicle. The next day, at approximately 6:30pm, Ms. Vallone was arrested by Toms River Police Department and the vehicle was returned to the owner.
