Toms River Students Learn All About Waste at Atlantic County Utilities Authority

///

TOMS RIVER-Mr. Vernachio’s AP Environmental Science students at High School North visited the Atlantic County Utilities Authority last week. They were provided first-hand looks at wastewater treatment, recycling, and the landfill processes. Students were up close with New Jersey’s only commercial wind farm. They were also able to learn technical jargon like “dirty dirt.”
