Armed Robbery at Toms River Gas Station

Sometime after midnight on July 5^th, an unknown white male entered the Shell Gas Station located at Routes 9 & 571.  The suspect brandished a hand gun and demanded money from the clerk.  The clerk complied with his demands and the suspect was able to leave with an undetermined amount of cash from the register.  The suspect was described as a white male in his late 20’s or early 30’s., with a reddish beard, wearing a backpack all dark clothing.  Anyone with information should contact Detective Robert O’Neill of the Toms River Police Department 732-349-0150 x 1255 or email roneill@trpolice.org.
