Knife Wielding Robber Being Sought by Toms River Police

On Thursday March 28 at 1:40 AM , the pictured male entered the 7-11 store at Route 37 and Oak Ridge Parkway, brandished a knife and demanded money before fleeing on foot. At 5:59 AM the same morning, the same male entered the Rite Aid at Route 70 and Whitesville Road and again brandished a knife and demanded money before fleeing on foot.

Anyone with information regarding these incidents or the male is asked to contact Detective James Carey at 732-349-0150 Extension 1292 or at jcarey@trpolice.org.

The Toms River Police Department is also asking residents who live in the area of either incident to check their surveillance cameras to see if the male or any suspicious vehicles were observed during the time frame indicated.
