BEACHWOOD-Toms River School Board Member Daniel Leonard, a veteran of America’s War Against Global Terrorism if fighting a new battle this week after Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) set their sites on he and his wife this week.
CAIR called for Leonard’s resignation from the Toms River School Board and launched a social media Jihad against him.
Leonard, a conservative independent and U.S. Army veteran made a comment against leftist radical Muslim Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib and her fellow Democratic Socialists, Illhan Omar and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez saying, “My life would be complete if she/they die…”
CAIR, who is identified in some parts of the Middle East as a terrorist organization denounced Leonard’s comments.
According to CAIR, Leonard shared a post depicting an image of Freshman Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib with the caption, “My life would be complete if she/they die. . .”
The organization said other posts by Leonard include an image of a bruised Barbie doll in a headscarf with the meme “Sharia Barbie, Comes with Jihab [sic], bruises, & Quran, Stoning accessories available for additional purchase.” and an image of Congresswoman Ilhan Omar with the comment, “Terrorist. . .100%.”
Leonard said since CAIR’s press release was issued, Muslims and other members of the organization have attacked him and his wife on social media.
“Your days on the school board are numbered,” threatened Andrew Chou. “CAIR-NJ will make sure you don’t survive the ethics probe.”
Leonard said his comment was based around one of Socialist Democrat Rashida Tlaib’s fleeting political acts, a hunger strike against ICE.
“I’ll say it again – If you want to go on a faux politically motivated hunger strike to get media attention while real American children and families go Hungry day in and day out,” Leonard said. “Why should I be concerned or surprised if you die as a result? I mean Team Leonard manages to grab the Headlines with a full belly!”
“Also there is a difference between being Anti-Muslim and Anti-Sharia Law! I am Anti-Sharia Law as should every United States Citizen,” he said. “But when a pro-terror agency such as CAIR comes after a Combat Veteran’s Freedom of Speech I think some of you really need to dig deep into what this is really about.”
