Jersey Shore Insider: GOP Rising Star, NJ Assemblyman, Navy SEAL Peters Endorses Gibbs for Congress

BURLINGTON COUNTY-One of New Jersey’s rising stars, Assemblyman Ryan Peters who also is also a Navy SEAL today endorsed former Burlington County Freeholder Kate Gibbs for Congress.  Gibbs is running against Nancy Pelosi ally Andy Kim.

“Kate Gibbs was my very first running mate, and I couldn’t have had a better introduction to politics and local public service. She was a true force in advancing Burlington County. I knew then that she was destined to help people in bigger ways. It’s my honor to endorse her. Congresswoman Gibbs has a nice ring to it.”

Peters served with Gibbs on the Burlington County Board of Chosen Freeholders.  Prior to that, he served in three combat tours in Afghanistan and Iraq.  He is currently a Commander in the U.S. Naval Reserves attached to SEAL Team 18.
