New Jersey Congressman Andy Kim said he’s becoming increasingly frustrated as he and his staff continue lobbying to bring much needed COVID-19 healthcare support to the Garden State.

“Right now, our counties are doing everything they can do test as many people as possible, but they can’t do it on their own. I’ve been incredibly disappointed and frustrated with the lack of support we’ve gotten from FEMA, but I’m not giving up,” Kim said. “I promise you I’m working with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to find solutions to testing, supplies, and everything else we need to end this crisis and put an end to the fear.”

Kim slammed FEMA’s sluggish response to providing testing services in South Jersey.

“The increase in Coronavirus cases in both Burlington and Ocean Counties is incredibly troubling, but without adequate testing, we can’t fully begin to address the problem,” he added. “It’s why we need a third FEMA testing site in New Jersey, and more help from the federal government to assist our counties.”
