Ocean County Nearing 5,000 COVID-19 Cases, 253 Dead

TOMS RIVER, NJ – The Ocean County Health Departments’ latest figures show an increase of COVID-19 cases, making the total cases 4,990 countywide.  Lakewood Township has the most reported and confirmed cases with 1,367 and Toms River is in second place with 869 confirmed cases.

According to Governor Phil Murphy, 253 people have died from COVID-19 in Ocean County and 4,753 statewide.   92,387 confirmed cases have been reported.
