AARP: Here’s How to Wear a Face Mask and Not Fog Your Glasses

It’s one of the biggest complaints out there right now regarding the constant need to wear a facemask, but for those who wear glasses, the struggle is real.    AARP has dug up an old article that shows you how to have fog-free spectacles while wearing a face mask.

“Washing the spectacles with soapy water leaves behind a thin surfactant film that reduces this surface tension and causes the water molecules to spread out evenly into a transparent layer,” the AARP article referenced. “This ‘surfactant effect’ is widely utilized to prevent misting of surfaces in many everyday situations.”
