Trabuco Canyon, CA – Matt Keough played six seasons for the Oakland A’s from 1977 to 1983 when he was traded midway through the season to the New York Yankees.  “Keough was married to actress and November 1980 Playboy Playmate of the month, Jeana Tomasina in 1984 but they later separated. The two appeared on reality television on The Real Housewives of Orange County,” according to Wikipedia.

Keough’s daughter Kara, who also appears on the show announced last month that she lost her newborn child and said this to her father after his passing, “Daddy, please take care of my son. Teach him the circle changeup and how to find forever friends. You’re on grandpa duty in heaven now.”

Keough came to the Yankees from the A’s in exchange for Ben Callahan, Marshall Brant and cash. After missing the entire 1984 season, Keough was released by the Yankees after a season plagued with arm injuries, playing for the Yankees double-A affiliate, Nashville Sounds.   Keough ended his playing career in 1986 after bouncing between St. Louis, Houston and Chicago, with the Cubs.
