Former Marine, PA Sheriff Vows to Defend Constitution, Not Governor’s Unconstitutional Oders

Robert Walker

ADAMS COUNTY, PA – Adams County Sheriff James Muller today said that he will uphold and defend the Constitution of the  United States before the whimsical unconstitutional executive orders of Pennsylvania Governor Thomas Westerman Wolf.    Muller, referred to the oath of enlistment he gave upon entering the United States Marine Corps as his justification to continue to defend the constitution.  In that oath, Marines are expected to defend the constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic.

“Lately I have been receiving a lot of requests concerning my stand on Gov. Wolf not allowing small business to open up, and if they do open in defiance of his order will I enforce his order,” Muller said. “I have taken an Oath to Uphold and Defend the Constitution (5) times. Once when enlisting in the Marine Corps, and (4) times as your Sheriff, I take this Oath very seriously and I have never allowed myself to forget who I work for and who I represent.”

Muller said he will not enforce laws that violate the constitution.

“It is my intent to inform you, the Citizens of Adams County, that the Adams County Sheriff’s Office will neither “now” or in the future, enforce any law that violates your constitutional rights,” he added.  “As in the past I will continue to Support, Obey, Defend, and Uphold the United States Constitution, and the Constitution of Pennsylvania.
