NASSAU COUNTY, NY – Nassau County Executive Laura Curran held an awkward press conference today and laid down the county’s rules about touch each other’s balls during the COVID-19 pandemic.  Things got a bit confusing when Curran explained the ball touching rules.   Apparently, you can only touch your own balls in Nassau County.  If you have to, you can use your feet to touch another person’s balls.  Incidentally, if you’re with family members, anyone can touch anyone’s balls.  Just play it safe, and make sure you mark your balls before going to the tennis courts in Nassau County.

“Unless they’re from the same household you have to bring your own tennis balls so that you don’t touch other people’s tennis balls with your hands,” Curren asaid.  “You can kick their balls but you can’t touch them.”

When it comes to your family, here’s the rules.

“If you’re if you’re playing with someone in your household you can touch those tennis balls,” she added. “To avoid confusion between whose balls are whose you can use a marker like a Sharpie to mark out to put x  or someone’s initials.”

As she delivered the news, two men behind here were playing with each other’s balls and twice touched each other’s balls.
