Ten Racehorses Died Sunday in Fiery Crash on New Jersey Turnpike

EAST WINDSOR, NJ –  A crash involving a tractor-trailer with ten racehorses crashed into a concrete divider on the New Jersey Turnpike, burning and killing ten horses, according to the New Jersey State Police.   Police said the crash happened at 3 a.m. in the area of East Windsor at mile marker 68.6 in the northbound lanes.  Police said the trailer carrying the horses burst into flames.
